About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Director to join our team at Teva Pharmaceuticals. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing our Global Compliance & Ethics Program in Spain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Program Development and Execution
    • Lead the development and implementation of our compliance program in Spain, ensuring alignment with global standards and regulations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Compliance Monitoring and Reporting
    • Design and implement a compliance monitoring plan to ensure effective risk assessment and mitigation.
    • Regularly report compliance results to local management and ensure adequate remediation and action items.
  • Compliance Training and Awareness
    • Develop and deliver compliance training programs to ensure employees understand our compliance policies and procedures.
    • Champion our company values, principles, and code of conduct.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Partner with key stakeholders, including management, sales, marketing, and regulatory teams, to provide business-oriented and pragmatic guidance.
    • Collaborate with the Spanish Compliance Committee to ensure regular meetings and effective risk assessment and mitigation.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Typically > 10 years' professional experience, with 5+ years of compliance experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
    • University degree or equivalent in compliance, law, accounting, or a related field.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Extensive knowledge of rules and requirements regarding healthcare compliance and interactions with healthcare professionals, healthcare organizations, and governmental officials.
    • Strong business acumen and knowledge of the Spanish pharmaceutical industry.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to advise management on complex issues objectively and confidently.
