About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Validation and Verification Engineer to join our team at Grooo Ab. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive validation and verification strategies for our products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in validation and verification processes, with expertise in test automation, network protocols, and integration. You will be responsible for mentoring and guiding a team of engineers to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement validation and verification plans that meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test procedures for product functionality and features.
  • Develop and implement automation tasks for relevant validation and verification activities to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and recommend corrective actions to improve product quality.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulatory requirements, addressing customer complaints and non-conformance issues as necessary.
  • Maintain and enhance validation and verification processes and documentation to align with industry best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive product development and quality assurance.
  • Regularly communicate validation and verification status and progress to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.

Requirements:

  • Advanced test automation and scripting skills, with expertise in tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
  • Strong background in network protocols and debugging, with experience in using network analysis tools like Wireshark.
  • Integration expertise, with a strong understanding of ONVIF standards and experience in integrating and testing video streaming solutions with VMS platforms.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, with the ability to implement and oversee risk-based testing techniques.
  • Proficiency in data collection, management, and analysis, with the ability to lead the team in producing detailed documentation and certification reports.
  • Expertise in maintaining ongoing compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, with the ability to enforce and improve quality assurance practices within the team.
