Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Manager to join our team at Southern Processing Corporation. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audit and financial statement preparation.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to management and other departments.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve financial performance.
  • Supervise and train accounting staff to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting operations, preferably in a manufacturing or processing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
