Job Summary
Lilly is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director Global Supply Chain – Gpo Materials Planning to join our team. As a key member of our Global Supply Chain Excellence organization, you will be responsible for defining and documenting global business processes, identifying and driving improvements, governing execution of the business processes, ensuring the tools and organization are capable, and supporting the capabilities in the organization through appropriate guidance and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and Document Global Business Processes: Develop and maintain global business processes for Materials Planning operations across all manufacturing networks (API, parenteral, and dry products).
- Process Governance: Form a companywide strategic roadmap to improve Materials Planning process maturity, aligning the strategic roadmap with key stakeholders across functions, hierarchy, and different parts of the business.
- Process Design: Serve as an expert and key team member in major process Global Supply Chain design changes, documenting and mapping the global business process, capturing and analyzing business requirements, and translating these into standardized business processes.
- Measurement and Continuous Improvement: Track benefits and improvements into the business, channeling continuous improvement ideas and selecting suitable ones to turn into projects, ensuring the Materials Planning review processes happen on time.
Requirements
- Education: BS or MS degree in Materials Management, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of manufacturing and/or supply chain experience with an understanding of material flows, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Skills: Strong Materials Movement business process knowledge, knowledge of systems required to plan, buy, and manage materials, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, good problem-solving and influencing skills, ability to analyze project needs and balance competing interests, and determine the resources needed to meet objectives.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position with normal work shift. Travel may be required.
