Job Title: Global Supply Chain Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Puig. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of finished and semi-finished products in our network, while maintaining quality, cost, stock levels, and service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define global inventory policies aligned with manufacturing batch policies
  • Agree inventory policies and replenishment principles with local supply planners in subsidiaries
  • Calculate Distribution Requirements Plan (DRP) to Puig stock locations, considering local sales forecast and finished products stock policies
  • Carry out Master Production Schedule (MPS), own or third-party, considering demand plan, finished product stock policy, and manufacturing/purchasing policies
  • Run Rough Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) to adapt MPS results to manufacturing and key suppliers capacity, identifying capacity risks in the future
  • Evaluate alternatives and establish contingency plans to guarantee availability of key references
  • Co-lead global operational Sales & Operation Plan (S&OP) meeting, providing information on availability risks, capacity constraints, materials requirements, and obsolescence
  • Maintain stock levels in third-party and Puig locations, in agreement with Group Policies
  • Reduce stocks of obsolete materials or low rotation, analyzing them and proposing reusability alternatives
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in Supply Planning, or recent graduate interested in learning and developing a long-term career in Supply Chain
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management, or Economics
  • Fluent English and Spanish
  • Specific knowledge required: Supply Chain Management, Supply Planning (DRP, MPS, MRP, RCCP)
  • Very good skills in Excel (database management, basic formulas, pivot tables) and interest in other software like Power BI
  • Basic knowledge of SAP (preferable)
