Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As an Indirect Buyer, you will play a critical role in sourcing and procuring goods and services to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement full supplier selection processes to ensure the best possible outcomes for Alstom.
- Prepare and launch Request for Quotation with suppliers, leading project negotiations and monitoring procurement project QCDT & legal project evolution.
- Ensure work package sheet commitment respect, prepare Business Award, and promote the Alstom Code of Ethics.
- Coordinate projects with all métiers, ensuring on-time delivery and quality are secured, especially during the ramp-up phase.
- Support commodity strategy, consolidate commodity needs, and participate actively in commodity strategy and panel elaboration.
- Provide inputs to build differentiation, support Commodity Manager in tender phase, and represent commodities towards projects, platforms, and solutions.
- Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem-solving, apply the Alstom Procurement process, and provide return on experience.
- Build supplier relationships, support global supplier panel relationships, and manage specific supplier panel relationships.
- Measure supplier performance, develop suppliers in coordination with supplier Quality Team, and assess risky suppliers and manage associated mitigation plans.
- 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong research skills, analytical skills, ability to negotiate contracts, and proficiency in inventory and RFP management software.
- Team management knowledge and highly skilled in problem resolution.
