Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Character Artist to join our Global Services team in Valencia. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality character art assets that satisfy both artistic and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality character art assets that meet project requirements
  • Collaborate with art leads and external teams to ensure consistency and quality
  • Support the art team in the development of pipelines and style guides
  • Continuously improve your craft through collaboration and self-guided exploration
  • Assist in character concept and design
  • Proactively report blockers or request feedback
  • Self-regulate your workload while completing time-sensitive requests and resolve any issues that arise
Requirements
  • Excellent understanding of anatomy, weight, and silhouette
  • Advanced knowledge of 3DS Max and/or Maya, or similar 3D modeling software
  • Expert sculpting skills using Zbrush
  • Robust knowledge of game asset optimization and topology
  • 4+ years of experience in the video games industry with 2+ shipped titles as a Character Artist
  • Proven experience with Marvelous Designer
  • Proficient in Unreal 5 workflows and PBR pipelines using Substance Painter
  • Basic knowledge of animation, with an eye for posing
  • Extensive portfolio of high and low poly models, including advanced material and rendering samples
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proactive about troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Capacity to adapt to a demanding workflow, maintaining quality and consistency while meeting objectives
  • Fluent English both in speech and in writing
