Coty seeks a skilled Senior Supply Chain Strategist to lead demand planning efforts in our Barcelona Hub. This key role involves overseeing overall forecasts for assigned portfolios, ensuring accurate data inputs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive forecasting performance.
About the Role
This strategic position requires expertise in managing complex supply chain systems, developing data-driven forecasts, and analyzing market trends to inform business decisions. As a Senior Supply Chain Strategist, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining accurate forecasts for assigned portfolios, incorporating market insights and historical data.
- Collaborating with Data Scientists to optimize forecasting models and improve performance metrics.
- Ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders, including BU Commercial Teams, to validate promotion or initiative data.
- Leveraging advanced analytics tools to identify trends, optimize forecast accuracy, and mitigate risks.
- Maintaining robust relationships with key partners, such as Category Supply Planning and Hub Category teams.
Key Performance Indicators
The successful candidate will be evaluated on their ability to:
- Drive forecast accuracy (MAPE) and reduce cuts due to forecasting.
- Improve forecasting completeness and SPP1 & 3 bias.
- Enhance collaboration with Data Scientists to develop cutting-edge forecasting models.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analysis, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing data-driven forecasting strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with large datasets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
What We Offer
Coty offers a competitive salary range of €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
