About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team at MAHLE. As an Application Engineer Compressors, you will be responsible for developing and releasing new standards for AC compressor components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to edit and sign technical matrices for their specific applications.
  • Run and organize validation programs for AC compressor components.
  • Develop and release new standards with the global team.
  • Develop technical validation reports and specifications for internal engineering and external customer documentation.
  • Participate in innovation, product cost, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturing plants to ensure product design for high value and manufacturability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or higher.
  • Experience in development of precision products for 5+ years.
  • Understanding of principles of statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, strengths of materials, thermodynamics, physics (mechanical and electrical), and engineering design.
  • Experience with full product cycle life development up to production.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office and basic 3D modeling.
  • Good interpersonal and written and oral skills.
  • Ability to manage time and organize effectively with multiple projects.
