We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Expert to join our team at Allianz Technology. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy and commitment.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Sustainability Initiatives: Develop and implement sustainable initiatives that align with our sustainability goals and roadmap, working closely with functional teams and stakeholders.
- Support Sustainability Reporting: Assist with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) reporting, including process documentation, control setup, and execution.
- Reduce Environmental Impact: Continuously improve guidelines and best practices to reduce environmental impact across our service portfolio, from service creation to decommissioning, in collaboration with service owners and managers.
- Contribute to Sustainability Strategy: Contribute to the development of our sustainability strategy, roadmap, and metrics definition, in line with our global Allianz sustainability strategy and Allianz Technology IT and sustainability strategy.
- Act as Sustainability Ambassador: Foster and create awareness for sustainable practices within Allianz Technology, promoting a culture of sustainability and social responsibility.
- Single Point of Contact: Serve as the single point of contact for Jira project management within the team.
- 1-3 years of experience in Sustainability, preferably in the context of IT.
- Expertise in sustainability and environmental management, with a strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g. CSRD, EED, ISO14001, ISO50001).
- Analytical skills to assess, analyze data, and derive practical solutions to minimize the environmental footprint of our operations and as a shared service provider.
- Capability to develop, plan, and execute sustainability projects and initiatives, in line with our sustainability strategy and objectives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to achieve buy-in for sustainability initiatives and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Genuine passion for sustainability and social responsibility.
- Profound understanding of our organizational set-up as an IT shared service provider.
- Familiarity with sustainable procurement practices and circular economy principles is a plus.
