About the Role

Medtronic is seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management team. As a Technical Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing expert technical support to physicians and healthcare professionals in the operating room, as well as working with a network of accounts to expand the utilization of device therapies, diagnostics, and monitoring for cardiac rhythm and heart failure disease management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to physicians in the operating room during Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator implants and Electrophysiology procedures.
  2. Product Expertise: Advise referring physicians on company products, therapies, and services to optimize patient outcomes.
  3. Relationship Building: Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers.
  4. Clinical Education: Educate referring physicians on clinical evidence of defined therapies to demonstrate improved patient outcomes.
  5. Administrative Duties: Carry out all administrative duties and reports.
Requirements
  1. Education: University degree in Health sciences (biomedical engineering, electrical, IT, natural sciences, or other relevant degree).
  2. Experience: At least 2 years of experience minimum is required but it's not a limitation.
  3. Communication Skills: Willingness to work with physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians.
  4. Technical Skills: Willingness to provide expert technical support in the operating room.
  5. Language Skills: Fluent English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
  6. Computer Literacy: Computer literacy.
  7. Business Acumen: Communication skills and motivation to build strong business relationships with customers.
  8. Travel Requirements: Clean driving license; willingness to travel intensively.
  9. Teamwork: Teamwork, proactivity, and focus on delivering results.
