Senior Software Architect for Edge-Server Integration

**Job Summary:** Grooo Ab is seeking an experienced Senior Software Architect to own and manage the interface between our on-edge embedded software and video detection management system. As a leader, you will mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.

**About Us:** At Grooo Ab, we're pushing the boundaries of edge-server integration. With 5-10 years of experience in development, you'll bring expertise in C#, C++, Java, Angular, and ReactJS. Your deep understanding of distributed architectures, multithreaded programming, and real-time data processing will enable you to lead the development and optimization of software architectures that seamlessly bridge on-edge and server-based environments.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning the interface between our on-edge embedded software and video detection management system software
  • Mentoring engineers, providing technical guidance, and promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Supporting on-edge and server-based teams to define, optimize, and maintain software architectures
  • Conducting thorough testing and debugging of both proprietary and third-party software, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Managing version control, product specifications, and producing comprehensive documentation to support development and customer interactions

**Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience as a developer, with strong skills in C#, C++/Java, Angular, ReactJS
  • Experience with complex, large-scale systems, ideally in a distributed architecture, and knowledge of backend services and real-time data processing
  • Solid background in working with SQL databases to design and optimize scalable backend services
  • Deep understanding of embedded system software design and development, including driver and module creation, as well as software design and development for server-based solutions
  • Network Protocols and Communication expert knowledge, CI/CD and Version Control, ability to act as Configuration manager for the system level software releases ensuring stability of the interface between on-edge and server-based software releases
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, particularly with Jenkins

**Salary:** $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
