Lead Full Stack Software Engineer

As a key member of our software engineering team at Swiss Re, you will play a vital role in driving the development of our cutting-edge technology platform. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our company, and you will have the opportunity to work on critical projects that align with our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop new features and products that meet user needs and business goals across multiple domain teams and the whole platform.
- Identify, plan, and lead technical initiatives to improve the platform as a whole.
- Lead the implementation of critical parts within a domain team.
- Mentor junior team members and write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Work closely with team members, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to ensure a cohesive development process and product outcome.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced software engineer who is passionate about improving developer experience and software quality. You should have a demonstrated track record of proficiency in several elements of our technology stack, including Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, React, and TypeScript. Additionally, you should be able to prove the use of modern architectural patterns, such as DDD, microservices, CQRS, event sourcing, hexagonal architecture, and/or similar.
