We have created a personalized nutrition program that is radically reimagining a fundamental human need: eating well for your own body. Our program is currently available in the US and the UK, with a waitlist of over 300,000 and tens of thousands of members already adopting healthier habits and achieving their goals.
We are also the team behind the popular COVID Symptom Study, which played a critical role in the fight against COVID in the UK. Our collective work and expertise in biology, engineering, data science, and nutrition science has led to multiple breakthrough papers in leading scientific journals such as Nature Medicine, Science, The Lancet, and more.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced backend engineer to join our Payments team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building software solutions that enable our customers to buy our products seamlessly. You will work closely with our stakeholders to find the best solutions for both the business and our potential customers.
Our team operates in a dynamic and rewarding environment, using continuous delivery and regular feedback to ensure we deliver value to our customers on a daily basis. We deploy and operate our software using Kubernetes in GCP.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable and maintainable backend systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to ensure we deliver exceptional value to both the business and our customers.
- Work in a self-organising team with high levels of trust and collaboration.
- Lead by example to ensure our engineering solutions are scalable, maintainable, testable, and follow best practices.
- Help the team operate effectively by breaking problems down into simpler ones for fast delivery and impact.
