**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
  • Fully stock and transport housekeeping carts to assigned areas.
  • Enter guest rooms following established procedures to ensure guest privacy and security.
  • Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms, including linens, towels, and toiletries.
  • Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs.
  • Remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items from guest rooms.
  • Check that all appliances and equipment in guest rooms are present and in working order.
  • Straighten and arrange furniture, fixtures, and equipment in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Dust and polish all surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Remove marks and scuff marks from walls and surfaces.
  • Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures, including reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
  • Complete all necessary safety training and certifications.
  • Properly store flammable materials and hazardous waste.
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and courteous manner.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, including cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk extensively throughout the hotel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
