We are seeking a talented Senior UX Designer to join our innovative and collaborative environment at Board. As a forward-thinking professional, you will have the opportunity to lead and influence the design of our financial and retail solutions, driving innovation through your extensive expertise in user-centered design.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the UX design efforts across multiple high-impact projects, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Mentor and guide junior and midweight UX designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts, to understand project goals and design requirements.
  • Drive the end-to-end design process, from initial research and concept development to final implementation, ensuring high-quality design outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines that ensure consistency and scalability across all Board solutions.
  • Conduct and oversee user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Create and iterate on wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, delivering clear and detailed design specifications.
  • Leverage and expand our pattern library by working closely with the UI infrastructure team.
  • Communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale, and user-centered design processes effectively to stakeholders.
  • Apply usability heuristics and stay current with design best practices to evaluate new and existing features, offering valuable suggestions for improvement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work across various platforms and industries.
  • Proven leadership experience in UX design, with a track record of leading and mentoring design teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of User-Centered iterative design processes and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of usability principles, best practices, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1 AA).
  • Exceptional organisational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, along with effective presentation skills.
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
