About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Paralegal to join our cross-border litigation team at Dac Beachcroft LLP. The successful candidate will have a strong background in claims with an international element and be able to work with a variety of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage a caseload of small, fast, intermediary, and/or multi-track litigated claims, adhering to Service Level Agreements with insurer clients and assisting senior colleagues with more complex cases.
- Manage all financial aspects of their caseload, including billing, WIP, debt, and resolving general accounting queries.
- Conduct analysis of evidence, set case strategies, obtain and draft pleadings, witness statements, and letters of response, and conduct telephone negotiations of claims.
- Prepare detailed counter schedules, manage sound files, and update Management Information.
- Participate in business development and client training events as necessary.
Requirements
- A qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive, or barrister with at least 1 year's relevant litigation experience, or a paralegal looking to start their career in a fast-growing and exciting area of law.
- Cross-border experience is ideal, but strong defendant litigation experience is also acceptable.
- Confident Multi-track experience is required.
- Languages are a bonus but not essential.
- Committed to learning and building specialist knowledge.
- Demonstrates alignment with the Firm's Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined, and Supportive).
