Opportunity Overview

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Solutions Engineer to take on a pivotal role in fulfilling the unique requirements of generative AI within the insurance sector. Your primary focus will be on architecting and configuring cloud environments while playing a key role in the integration of new functionalities, which will facilitate the rapid development of cutting-edge products and services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer, your core duties will encompass:

  • Designing and deploying a self-service platform that empowers developers with streamlined and automated processes for mapping, scaling, securing, and deploying their applications to cloud infrastructures.
  • Enhancing and optimizing cloud architecture to accelerate build cycles for products and services.
  • Creating automated workflows and interfaces that incorporate Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) methodologies into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Establishing monitoring and logging frameworks to ensure visibility, insights, and automated resolution of issues within cloud services (including Dynatrace services for Data Observability, AI/ML Observability, and Distributed Tracing).
  • Collaborating effectively with DevOps teams, architects, and various stakeholders.
  • Engaging in testing, troubleshooting, and debugging efforts to guarantee the reliability and performance of cloud platforms.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest technological advancements in the realm of generative AI.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate for the Cloud Solutions Engineer role will possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure, showcasing proficiency in at least one while having exposure to multiple platforms.
  • Previous experience in developing Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) solutions utilizing Terraform.
  • A robust background in scripting and automation.
  • Familiarity with Dynatrace, encompassing not only logs, metrics, and resource monitoring but also observability, tracing, and automation services.
  • Knowledge of networking and security protocols within cloud environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities to effectively address the specific needs of generative AI.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams.
