Salary and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation with regular annual salary reviews, ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 depending on experience and location. Additionally, we provide hybrid work arrangements (2 days at the office, 3 days at home), comprehensive benefits including health insurance, paid leave, retirement plans, and more.

Job Description

As an IBM Technical Presales Consultant, you will serve as a certified engineer with specialist knowledge within a Business Unit, supporting internal and external stakeholders in defining solutions and projects. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Designing vendor solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Providing outstanding quality of service and meeting predefined customer service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Generating accurate bill of materials using internal and vendor tools on a timely basis
  • Owning assigned Request Manager resolver groups
  • Responding quickly to queries or customer care issues
  • Communicating product and technology information to educate internal and external audiences
  • Dealing with product/solution enquiries from internal/external sales and resellers
  • Working with sales teams to profile repeatable solutions for stock and inventory planning purposes
  • Maintaining peer-level technical contacts in assigned vendors
  • Staying up-to-date with required technical knowledge in product or technology groups and achieving vendor-related accreditations
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Certification across single or multiple vendors
  • Professional and polished delivery of customer presentations
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, priority management, and planning skills
  • Good business skills and ability to run professional meetings and business engagements
  • IT industry knowledge – Channel, Vendors, Competition, and End User is desirable but not mandatory
