About the JobWe're seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our Lending & Savings Segment in the Financial Empowerment Domain. You'll be part of a dynamic team that's redefining the banking landscape.
As a Senior Backend Engineer at N26, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex problems, drive innovation, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with your Tech Lead to architect new features and ensure successful implementation.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software in a fast-paced environment.
- Mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence through pull requests and guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technological trends and contribute insights during Get Stuff Done Days.
- Contribute to maintaining the highest technical standards across the product.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (Kotlin experience is a significant advantage).
- Demonstrated understanding of microservice architecture principles.
- Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres.
- Experience working in a modern cloud architecture, preferably with AWS.
