Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Finance Specialist to join our EU Finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily financial management of our business units, driving strategic decision-making and ensuring the financial viability of our projects.

About the Role:

The Renewable Energy Finance Specialist will be responsible for analyzing and preparing financial processes necessary for project viability, including assessing financing alternatives, determining adequate financial structures, and preparing financial models to run sensitivities. They will also contribute to the implementation of selected financing sources, support interest rate and currency hedges, and prepare covenant-related reports and cash flow forecasts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the EU Finance Direction in implementing and managing the financial structure of projects/companies, aligning with objectives such as defining potential funding scenarios, developing sensitivity analysis, and highlighting impacts on profitability using Excel-based financial models.
  • Develop skills in financing solutions adopted in different platforms and engage local teams in new projects.
  • Monitor the evolution of finance structure across various stages, from internal analysis to approval process and implementation.
  • Support scheduling activities related to the financial area, including long-term funding, bridge, equity, and hedging.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy finance or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and maintain complex financial models.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
