Job Title: Chief Tax Strategist for Latin America and Europe
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
Job Description:
The Chief Tax Strategist will be responsible for the completion of international and local income tax returns, including analysis and support. This role will also manage cross-border tax issues and planning initiatives for a portfolio of businesses across various markets in Europe and LATAM.
Key responsibilities include participating in global projects, providing internal tax advisory services, managing tax compliance for all subsidiaries, and overseeing transfer pricing and management fee arrangements. The successful candidate will lead a team of up to 6 people and be responsible for calculating intercompany charges according to the group's transfer pricing policy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, finance, business or related field
- 6+ years of related experience, including international tax experience across multiple countries
- Master's in taxation or international taxation desired
- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated hands-on approach and personnel management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to adapt to new assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in Spanish and English, Portuguese is a plus
