Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Security Engineer to join our Product Security Team at Databricks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing SDLC functions for features and products within Databricks, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct security design reviews, threat modeling, and manual code reviews to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement security processes to improve the overall productivity of the product security organization and the SDLC process.
  • Work with global teams to provide support for Incident Response and Vulnerability Response as needed.
  • Collaborate with other security teams to evaluate and identify false positives and file defects for real issues.
  • Maintain the automation framework and add new features as needed to support different security compliances.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with the Threat Modeling process and the ability to find design problems based on a block diagram of data flow.
  • Strong understanding of at least two of the following domains: Web Security, Cloud Security, Systems Security, and Applied Cryptography.
  • 3+ years of experience with one or more of Python/Java/Scala/JavaScript and the ability to read code to identify security defects.
  • Strong skills in scripting and automation on exploits.
  • Fuzzing skills are a plus.
  • Exploit writing skills are highly desired.
