Job Title: Senior Application Security Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for analyzing and mitigating cyber security threats to our web applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and respond to security incidents, identifying and mitigating potential threats to our web applications.
  • Develop and implement security controls and countermeasures to prevent cyber attacks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of our web applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and provide recommendations for improving our security posture.
  • Mentor and train junior team members on security best practices and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application security, with a strong background in web application security.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, EDR, and web application firewalls.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and risk management frameworks.
