Job Summary
As a Risk Analyst I at Global Payments, Inc., you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating financial risks associated with our payment solutions. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor merchant authorizations, deposits, and refunds to identify suspect transactions via RiskNet.
- Verify information with card issuing banks and validate suspicious transactions by contacting merchants and obtaining necessary documents.
- Capture and hold funds according to guidelines as warranted, and recommend reserve release of merchant funds where appropriate.
- Process electronic funds transfers and wires for merchants as needed, and liaise with the Investigations Team to gather information on suspect fraud transactions.
- Provide quality customer service and subject matter expertise to internal departments, third-party partners, and credit card issuers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work different shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high accuracy and multitasking in a complex environment.
