Job Title: Inside Sales Team Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead a team of high-caliber inside sales professionals focused on new logo business. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving goals through leadership and motivation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, manage, coach and drive a team of inside sales professionals
  • Set expectations and provide clarity for the team
  • Work closely with field sales to design a new logo sales account approach
  • Meet and exceed bookings targets for the identified market segment
  • Motivate and coach inside sales professionals to build pipeline and close revenue through channel & OEM partners
  • Work with marketing to design and implement campaigns focused at target accounts
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts and track sales activity using SFDC
  • Join customer calls with the inside sales team to coach and assist in closing bookings
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years sales experience and 3+ years management experience. Experience in enterprise sales, storage/networking/virtualization/cloud or infrastructure industries is strongly preferred.

  • Proven consistent achievement of goals through leadership and motivation of an inside sales team
  • Experience hiring, developing and retaining talent
  • Exceptional command of enterprise sales methodologies and ability to coach to it
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships
  • Excellent Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com skills
  • Travel required (1-2 times per quarter)
