We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our European Business Analytics department at DHL Germany. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business in retrieving and cleansing customer and third-party master data, feeding Lead Logistic Provider Systems, and creating business intelligence solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Business Intelligence Solutions: Implement and create web-based KPI dashboards for customers and internal stakeholders using Microsoft Power BI.
- Ad-hoc Reporting: Develop and create reports and presentations to support business decision-making.
- Data Management: Develop automation for current data management tasks, including master data updates and data quality checks.
- IT Project Support: Assist in upcoming and ongoing transformational IT projects and process redesigns.
- KPI Reporting: Support the KPI reporting and monitoring process for customers.
- Special Projects: Participate in special customer projects and concept studies.
- Software Development: Develop software solutions that create value for our customers.
- Master Data Management: Ensure that all business master data is accurate, congruent, and reliable, and harvested and processed in line with DHL and customer standards.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, data science, IT, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Profound working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, coding skills in Python and SQL languages, and strong analytical skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent MS Office skills, especially in MS Excel (VBA), and strong communication skills.
- Additional Data Handling Tools: First professional experience with additional data handling and BI tools, such as Tableau, QlikView, or Alteryx.
- Computational Statistics: Experimented in computational statistics and data modeling.
- Artificial Intelligence: Knowledge and experimentation in Artificial Intelligence.
- API Integration: Experience using APIs for requesting and pushing data between different systems.
