Job Summary

We are seeking a Design and Quantity Surveyor Supervisor to oversee the cost estimation, budgeting, and project design processes. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate project cost forecasting, budget management, and adherence to our quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure project designs are functional, cost-effective, and aligned with our specifications
  • Review project plans and specifications, providing input for design improvements to optimize both quality and cost efficiency
  • Conduct and supervise feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects
  • Lead the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 months - 1 year of experience in design, quantity surveying, or cost management in the construction industry, with supervisory responsibilities preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, project budgeting, and cost estimation techniques
  • Familiarity with architectural and engineering design processes and the ability to interpret plans and specifications
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools
