About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects in line with our Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technical (QCDT) objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement full supplier selection processes
  • Prepare and launch Request for Quotation with suppliers
  • Lead project negotiations and monitor procurement project QCDT and legal project evolution
  • Ensure work package sheet commitment respect and prepare Business Awards
  • Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct
  • Coordinate projects with all métiers and ensure on-time delivery and quality are secured
  • Support commodity strategy and build supplier relationships
  • Consolidate commodity needs and inputs, participate in commodity strategy and panel elaboration, and provide inputs to build differentiation
  • Support the Commodity Manager in the tender phase and represent commodities towards projects, platforms, and solutions
  • Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem-solving
  • Apply the Alstom Procurement process and provide return on experience
Requirements
  • Engineering or Business School master degree
  • Master in Purchasing or sourcing professional background
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and communicate effectively
  • Results-oriented, rigorous, and structured with an international mindset
  • Fluent in English and French
