Accountant - US GAAP Expert

The ideal candidate will join our team in Madrid and be responsible for managing US accounting projects, applying US GAAP standards. The role requires a strong understanding of local accounting principles, regulations, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and delivery of Financial Statements and reports for clients
  • Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date accounting records, reconciliation of bank accounts, and compliance with local accounting standards
  • Planning deliveries, organization of tasks, and support for audit processes by providing necessary documentation

About the Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar
  • In-depth knowledge of local accounting/tax principles, regulations, and standards, US GAAP
  • Experience in preparing Financial Statements and Reports
  • Fluent in English
  • Proven experience in a professional service firm (5-7 years)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Client-oriented, focus on delivering an excellent service
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Microsoft BC accounting ERP is a plus
