Job Summary

Board Deutschland GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance Systems to join our IT team. As a key member of our organization, you will provide strategic leadership for core applications, including finance, HR, and legal systems, and lead Oracle NetSuite ERP support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Governance:
    • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for core applications, ensuring alignment with business needs.
    • Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to ensure effective governance and decision-making.
    • Manage supplier services to optimize operations and drive efficiency.
  • Technical & Environmental Management:
    • Oversee technical management, security, authorizations, and change/release management for core applications.
    • Ensure system availability, security, and performance meet service levels.
  • Application Support & Development:
    • Provide high-quality support and governance for application solutions.
    • Lead development and support teams, managing internal and 3rd party providers.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management:
    • Interface with 3rd party service providers to ensure timely delivery of services and enhancements.
  • Team Leadership & Mentoring:
    • Establish a flexible team structure with appropriate skills and expertise.
    • Mentor and guide the team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure systems meet legal and audit requirements.
    • Maintain measures for system continuity and recovery in case of incidents.
  • Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
    • Develop regular reports against service targets.
    • Champion improvement project roadmaps and drive business outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
  • Strong Oracle NetSuite experience.
  • Significant IT applications and support management experience.
  • Coupa or other P2P solution experience is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performance and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
