About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team at REWE digital. As a key member of our Indirect Procurement Product team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated applications in the S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and develop company-specific applications in the S/4HANA and SAP BTP environment based on ABAP OO programming and RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
  • Design, test, and implement complex SAP/NON-SAP interfaces using modern web technologies.
  • Optimize business processes, develop solutions for digitalization and harmonization measures in procurement in connection with relevant SAP systems.
  • Work closely with specialist departments to find valuable ideas for further improvements.
  • Stay on top of things and keep a constant eye on the quality of our solutions.
Requirements
  • Several years of experience in programming with ABAP/ -OO and SAP MM & SD modules.
  • Apt in handling various development methods and tools, a valuable addition would be existing knowledge in the area of S/4 HANA.
  • Good experience in interface programming, such as IDOC, REST or batch input.
  • Ideal if you have experience in configuring and customizing in the SAP world.
  • A very good command of English is a basic requirement for our communication.
