Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Project Manager to join our team. As a Cyber Security Project Manager, you will work on projects of medium to high complexity, from conceptualization through completion. You will function as a capable partner to program management, sponsors, and stakeholders in the process.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure efficient project work, assuming responsibility for interdisciplinary and cross-unit project management tasks and ensuring compliance with project goals regarding time, budget, and quality.
  • Lead a project team in a global environment, responsible for setting up the project organization and staffing the team.
  • Drive RfI and RfP Processes in collaboration with the functional project team members and Procurement to ensure project staffing by external partners.
  • Manage Change Requests, including approval processes and adjustments to project planning and communication.
  • Perform Project Risk Management to secure the success of the project by early and constant evaluation of risk and opportunity development within the project.
  • Support business relationship management and improve relations with operational business units and corporate functions.
  • Perform Communication and Change Management activities in your project, managing a global, cross-function team, and ensuring communication within the team.
  • Participate in the project manager community and provide other project managers with continuing and professional education through corresponding lessons learned and training activities.
Qualifications
  • Hold a degree in business and economics or computer science or a comparable education.
  • Have several years of experience in project management.
  • Have several years of experience in project work and could gain experience in engineering of Cyber Security, IT Infrastructure, or experience as a Manager.
  • Be able to work in an international team and provide high analytical skills, as well as a high customer- and service orientation.
  • Be able to depict the results of your work convincingly based on outstanding communication skills.
  • Have great communications skills to align and communicate with stakeholders throughout BASF's organization.
  • Have outstanding language skills in English.
