Job Summary
Edp Energias De Portugal S.A. is seeking a highly skilled Solar Project Engineer to join our team in the renewable energy sector. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the design process of assigned projects, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with regulations and quality requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Development Engineering: Coordinate the preparation of technical projects for the development of renewable energy generation PV plants and electrical interconnection infrastructure, ensuring compliance with business unit conditions and technical regulations.
- Electrical Interconnection Common Infrastructure Design: Participate in the design of electrical infrastructure for generation plants, prepare documentation for grid access and connection applications, and ensure grid code compliance.
- Specialized Studies Coordination: Coordinate and validate the execution of specific key studies, such as collector system design, reactive power compensation, and foundation design, to minimize construction process risks.
- Technical Standardization: Coordinate and ensure the development and application of technical standardization in the concerned geography, applying best practices to ensure maximum efficiency in construction and operation.
- Tender Engineering: Coordinate the preparation of technical packages for Procurement, provide support in clarifications discussions with bidders, and ensure the best technical-economic conditions in awards.
- Project Handover to Construction: Optimize the transfer of projects from Engineering to Construction, ensuring coordination and technical quality in the handover process.
Requirements
As a successful candidate, you will have a strong background in renewable energy engineering, excellent technical skills, and experience in project management. You will be able to work effectively in a team, communicate complex technical information, and ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
