Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Twin Simulation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Value Chain Optimization team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining complex graphs and related applications using the latest graph technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop graph-based solutions to leverage high-value use cases
  • Build and extend smart frontends to utilize graph data and facilitate business usage
  • Translate business requirements into graph-thinking concepts
  • Integrate graph techniques for innovative AI solutions
  • Collaborate with global colleagues to drive project success
  • Work in an international and agile DevOps environment
  • Improve AI solutions with regards to user interfaces, graph modeling, data quality management, and adoption
  • Support the industrialization of AI solutions
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with at least 2 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with at least 4 years of experience
  • Sound understanding and experience with graph databases, graph algorithms, and data integration at large scale
  • Practical work experience in ontology development, data schemes, and data modeling
  • Programming experience with Python, Cypher, and Java, preferably Angular
  • Experience in data integration, ETL processes, and linked data applications
  • Business consulting and technical consulting skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to foster a positive culture
  • Growth mindset with a curiosity to learn and improve
  • Team player with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Nice to Have
  • Understanding of natural sciences and/or the chemical industry
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software
  • Experience working in agile environments with a DevOps mindset
  • German language skills
