Our Team

The Value Chain Optimization team is responsible for developing innovative solutions that leverage graph technologies to drive insights and business decisions. We work with a global team to implement data-driven solutions that support supply chain management around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain complex graphs and related applications using the latest graph technologies.
  • Develop and extend smart frontends to utilize graph data and facilitate business usage.
  • Translate business requirements into graph-based solutions.
  • Integrate graph techniques with AI solutions to drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a global team to drive project success.
  • Work in an international and agile DevOps environment.
  • Improve AI solutions through user interface design, graph modeling, and data quality management.
  • Support the industrialization of AI solutions.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, life sciences, chemistry, or related field with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, life sciences, chemistry, or related field with at least 4 years of experience.
  • Sound understanding and experience with graph databases, graph algorithms, and data integration at large scale.
  • Practical experience with ontologies, data schemes, and data modeling.
  • Programming skills in Python, Cypher, and Java, preferably with Angular.
  • Data integration and ETL process experience using tools like Microsoft Databricks, Kettle, and Docker.
  • Business consulting and technical consulting skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to foster a positive culture.
  • Growth mindset with a curiosity to learn and improve.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of natural sciences and/or the chemical industry.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software, e.g., SAP and OMP.
