Construction Project Manager: Substations, Emea Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team in Zaragoza, Spain. As a key member of our HV Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of high-voltage substations and transmission lines in Spain.
Your primary focus will be on managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards. You will work closely with general contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Project scope definition and timeline management
- Direct interface with construction general contractors
- Efficient project turnover and quality control
- Negotiation and bid evaluation
- Construction submittal review and commissioning plan creation
- Quality control and assurance
- Leadership and team management
- Concurrent project management and metric recording
- Capital requests and financial analysis
- Root cause failure analysis and troubleshooting
- Easement negotiation and value engineering
- Travel for site visits and leadership walk-downs
