About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Nurse I to join our team at Saint Louis University. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse with a passion for clinical research to contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, manage complex protocols testing investigational drugs, devices, or research interventions.
  • Collaborate with study teams to ensure good clinical practice standards throughout the life cycle of the study.
  • Screen patients according to study criteria, randomize, enroll, and obtain consent.
  • Perform nursing assessments of study participants and document findings.
  • Administer study-related treatments and medications as required.
  • Monitor and report adverse events in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of study progress and participant data.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.

Requirements

  • RN with current registration to practice nursing in St. Louis.
  • 3-5 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in clinical research.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
