Job Title: IP Backbone Engineer

At Orange Business Services, we are seeking a highly skilled IP Backbone Engineer to join our team. As an IP Backbone Engineer, you will play a critical role in planning and supporting our IP network and linked services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain IP networks, including switched backbones, IP and MPLS, CGN, DPI, and Caches.
  • Ensure the technical and operational feasibility of services requested by customers and/or propose alternative solutions.
  • Develop and implement new solutions, including analyzing performance indicators, network behavior, operational processes, tools, and service architectures.
  • End-to-end configuration of solutions, from design to implementation.
Requirements:
  • Engineering diploma in Telecommunications & Networks or equivalent level of experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an operational telecom environment (configuration, operations, and maintenance).
  • JNCIS-SP certification (Juniper Service Provider Routing & Switching) or CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate).
  • Knowledge and experience of IP networks, including BGP, MPLS, OSPF, Multicast, NAT, Firewall Filter and Access-list, Policy Routing, and Anti-DDOS.
  • Scripting skills (Python) and experience with Ansible.
