Job Description

We're seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to drive the design and development of our multi-sided smart kitchen platform. As a key member of our IoT Team, you'll lead the architectural vision for Fresco KitchenOS, ensuring scalability for millions of users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and champion the technical roadmap for Fresco KitchenOS IoT Platform.
  • Mentor and empower your team to deliver world-class engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the seamless integration of KitchenOS.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
  • Provide deep technical expertise across the entire platform, from firmware to databases and APIs.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience leading and architecting highly scalable distributed systems for IoT.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and delivering secure IoT platform deployments.
  • Proven leadership: A demonstrated track record of leading and inspiring high-performing engineering teams.
  • Technical Mastery: In-depth expertise in Python, AWS (including IoT Core, S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda), and data platform architectures.
  • Security Champion: A strong commitment to building and maintaining secure IoT platforms.
  • Exceptional communication: The ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker: A keen understanding of the competitive landscape and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • A passion for learning: A relentless drive to stay ahead of the curve and embrace new technologies.
  • Fluent English is a must.
