Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transaction Verification: Verify and reconcile daily transactions from all revenue-generating departments, including rooms, food and beverage, banquet, and spa.
  • Audit and Reconciliation: Audit cash, credit card, and other payment transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare daily revenue reports detailing income, expenses, and variances.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Compile weekly and monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls over financial transactions.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, or related field.
  • Experience: +2 years of experience in a hotel's accounting department.
  • Skills: Advanced skills in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Language: Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high-level attention to detail.
