Project Safety Assurance Manager

At Alstom, we're shaping the future of mobility. As a Project Safety Assurance Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our railway projects. With a strong background in safety signalling projects, you'll lead the way in developing and implementing safety assurance methodologies.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all safety assurance activities on the project.
- Define safety plans and manage safety workloads and associated planning.
- Perform safety analysis, manage hazard logs, review design, V&V, T&C activities from a safety perspective.
- Build safety reports and the safety case.
- Apply safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project.
- Defend safety case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessor.
- Manage (if any) the safety assurance engineers involved on the project.
About You
- Engineering degree.
- > 5 years of experience in safety signalling projects (IXL and/or ERTMS track and/or ERTMS ONB and/or CBTC solutions).
- English and Spanish at a fluent level is mandatory.
- Relevant experience in safety assurance in connected railway signalling safety projects.
- Successful experience in working in a multi-site, multi-cultural environment.
- Working knowledge of safety methods: safety plan, preliminary hazard analysis PHA, failure modes and effects critical analysis FMECA, fault tree analysis FTA, interface hazard analysis IHA, operation & support hazard analysis OSHA, safety-related item list SRIL, hazard log HL, V&V safety report, and safety case.
