About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Delivery Operations Specialist to join our team in EU Central Operations. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving standardization across EU and improving the overall last mile cost and Delivery Service Providers (DSP) Experience for AMZL EU.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for EU DSP Payments programs to drive standardization and process compliance
- Develop processes and systems to achieve metrics, often requiring scrappy solutions to temporarily overcome technical limitations
- Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives through quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making
- Ability to develop and share best practices across AMZL CO teams in other regions and Delivery Stations
- Ability to partner and influence multiple stakeholders, such as DSP teams, Operations, ACES and Finance
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics or other business/analytical disciplines or equivalent
- Relevant experience as a Project/Program Manager
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
- Strong logical thinking, analytical skills and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced or master's degree in business, operations or related fields
- Experience using SQL
- Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
- Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams
