Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Statistician to join our team at Nielseniq. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for leading the development of statistical models and methodologies to drive business growth and improve consumer insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and improve current methodologies, particularly in consumer projection and analytical models.
  • Lead and define R&D for the Consumer product's core methods, presenting and communicating findings and recommendations to peers and senior stakeholders.
  • Develop prototypes of new solutions and methodologies to address challenges in a dynamic market environment.
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Socio-economics, Data Science, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong statistical and logical skills, with experience in outlier validation, sampling, bias reduction, indirect estimation, or data aggregation techniques.
  • Proficiency in manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets, with experience in programming languages such as Python.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and collaboration skills, with a strong ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
