The Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our Quality Assurance Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing efficient and scalable microservices, contributing to defining best practices for backend development, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality backend code using Python, Flask, FastAPI, or Django
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable microservices
  • Contribute to the development of best practices for backend development and testing
  • Mentor and support the growth of junior developers
  • Test, maintain, and improve software functionality and performance

Requirements

  • BSc degree in Computer Science (MSc studies a plus)
  • 4+ years of experience in backend software development
  • Strong knowledge of Python, web frameworks, and databases
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with microservices architecture
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub Actions
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
  • Understanding of security best practices in backend development
