Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Product Development Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving market development and supporting our Sales Force in commercialization excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute marketing plans for our product portfolio, ensuring alignment with our Cluster and Segment Leads.
  2. Utilize Marketing Tools: Leverage marketing tools provided by Marketing EMEA to support our marketing efforts.
  3. Review and Refine Marketing Plans: Regularly review and update our marketing plans to ensure they remain effective and aligned with our business goals.
  4. Support Demand Planners: Collaborate with our Demand Planners to ensure seamless execution of our IBP process.
  5. Manage Marketing Costs: Oversee marketing costs for our product area, ensuring they are in line with our marketing plan.
  6. Capture Market Insights: Gather key input from markets to improve our service to customers and drive business growth.
  7. Enable Market Development: Leverage deep product expertise to drive customer development and commercialization excellence.
  8. Support Sales Force: Provide sales teams with necessary knowledge and field support to ensure commercialization excellence.
  9. Support Product Users: Offer workshops and intra-operative assistance to support our product users.

Expected Areas of Competence:

  1. Medical Technology Industry Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of the medical technology industry.
  2. Medical Knowledge and Technical Understanding: Have a strong foundation in medical knowledge and technical understanding.
  3. Health Policy Environment Knowledge: Be familiar with the health policy environment, including DRGs, and have experience in the hospital business.
  4. Product Expertise: Possess deep expertise in relevant products and a profound understanding of local markets to effectively support commercial teams.
  5. Insight Capture: Be able to capture insights from market and customer feedback data.
  6. Project Management Skills: Possess project management skills, preferably.

Languages:

  1. Language of Main Country of Responsibility: Fluency in the language of the main country of responsibility (Spain) and English.

Personal Skills Requirements:

  1. Analytical and Negotiating Skills: Possess strong analytical and negotiating skills.
  2. Relationship Management: Be able to manage relationships with customers and colleagues.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  1. Degree in Business Administration, Medicine, Engineering, or Natural Sciences: Hold a degree in business administration, medicine, engineering, or natural sciences, or have corresponding long-term professional experience.

Professional Experience:

  1. At Least 2 Years of Professional Experience: Possess at least 2 years of professional experience in marketing, product management, or sales.
  2. Experience in Sports Medicine: Experience in sports medicine is appreciated.

Travel Requirements:

  1. Approx. 60%: Approximately 60% travel required.

Location flexible, could be located in Barcelona, Madrid, or Valencia.
