About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Hasbro's Supply Chain team as a Demand Planning Specialist. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely demand forecasts, driving business growth and maximizing customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 24-month rolling consensus forecast for selected product lines, working closely with internal partners such as Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.
- Generate and review baseline forecasts using statistical models, causal models, and product life cycle patterns, providing clear recommendations for unconstrained demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to collect and challenge input for forecast development, ensuring accurate monthly phasing and outlier correction.
- Liaise with Market Supply planners to communicate demand changes impacting inventory and service.
- Work with Marketing to identify products for forecasting and convert annual forecasts into phased forecasts based on release dates and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with the global forecasting calendar and contribute to demand data integrity.
- Track KPIs and demand error correction with root cause analysis.
- Provide reports required for local demand management processes and contribute to Capacity Planning with demand forecast scenarios.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, with a strong analytical background and proficiency in Demand Planning Tools and Power BI.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to effectively utilize tools to monitor performance and effectiveness.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work and communicate in multi-functional teams with multiple stakeholders.
