About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical System Delivery Lead to join our Data Digital and IT (DDIT) function, supporting Novartis' Innovative Medicines business. As a key member of the MDM Products team, you will be responsible for overseeing critical Master Data Management (MDM) projects and operations.

Your primary focus will be on building relationships with stakeholders from within the commercial business, IT, and other internal and external partners for demand analysis, solution design, and overall project delivery. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that all deployed code and configuration are of high quality and follow appropriate SDLC processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of MDM solutions, primarily using Reltio as the MDM engine, Snowflake, and AWS.
  • Ensure that services, solutions, platforms, and products are fit for purpose and achieve the desired business value and impact.
  • Run efficient development for MDM solutions, ensuring that all deployed code and configuration are of high quality and follow appropriate SDLC processes.
  • Track, report, and deliver against agreed success factors and KPIs for various stakeholders within your remit.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging practices to drive agility, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a computer science, engineering, or information technology discipline.
  • 8+ years of IT experience in a highly qualified function, including experience as a technology and solution delivery lead within Commercial IT.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Master Data Management solutions, preferably with Reltio in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with commercial data and relationships between data entities is highly desirable.
  • Ability to develop trust-based relationships with key regional stakeholders.
  • Effective communication style with the ability to influence local and global teams and increase the awareness of the value creation of solutions you are implementing.
