Financial Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our CEU Fresh Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in owning the financial aspects of the ES category management, serving as a subject matter expert for selection-related tools and methodologies, and providing cross-CEU support during the month-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze category-level financial performance for the ES Fresh business, identifying risks and opportunities, supporting the pre-WBR process, and developing controlling mechanisms.
  • Provide business teams with financial support to build category-level Operational Plans that allow them to meet business targets.
  • Provide financial analysis to support decision-making for the ES category level.
  • Own the MEC process for ES (MBR/QBR), deep diving and clearly communicating the drivers of performance for business controllable metrics, and contributing to the overall narrative for leadership reviews.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert to develop tools and methodologies used by the CEU team in the selection curation process.
  • Collaborate with the ES team to establish effective partnerships and ensure alignment on selection-related financial processes.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on historical profitability at product (ASIN) level, providing guidance and support to the CEU team.
  • Assist with the month-end close processes across the CEU function, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of month-end close activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or STEM.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in using financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding and/or experience in financial planning, controlling, and reporting processes.
  • Experience in using advanced Excel data modeling capabilities (Power Query/Power Pivot).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
