Key Responsibilities:
Manage the transition of Cloud Infrastructure and Operations management services to a Managed Service Partner, focusing on contract/vendor management and service delivery.
Oversee the deployment of cloud services, including virtual machines, containers, databases, and other cloud-based applications.
Ensure the security of cloud and hosting environments by implementing security measures such as access controls, encryption, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
Ensure the performance of cloud and hosting services is optimal and maximize availability for users and applications.
Manage relationships with cloud service providers and other vendors to ensure quality of service, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements (SLAs).
Requirements:
Strong experience in Cloud architecture, service delivery, contract management, analytical thinking, decision making, and presentation skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with the wider technology community to deliver a first-class user experience and service across the business.
